Default Fabricator/Technician Needs Work

Fabricator/Technician Needs Work

I am a recent graduate of Wyotech. I Graduated with a 96% overall average and was awarded the Outstanding Student Award in Chassis Fabrication. I am looking for a position as a Fabricator or Technician. I am skilled in both trades and am very meticulous. I love working on cars, trucks, and bikes. I like being challenged and love working long hours. I have a copy of my resume readily available if you are interested.

I am currently un-employed. For the past two months I was working as a Fabricator at Hardcore Racing Inc. in Flint Michigan. Lay offs put me back where I was right after I graduated. Please pass this info on to your friends and family if any would be interested.

Thank you for your time and help,
Jeff Shortt

I have a couple of buddy's that work there. They are not too impressed with how it is run. Not to say all departments are the same, I just haven't looked that deeply into rousch.

A Bit about Hardcore Racing Inc. They do work on customer cars. But the main focus is Ronnie Dukes Race Team. I was let go along with 10-15 other guys because Ronnie lost money in a real estate deal. Those of us who were let go worked on customer cars exclusively. Hardcore Racing is a great shop, but racing is more important than customer cars. Buying parts there is good, but the shops turnaround time on jobs is terrible. Also, a great number of Hardcore Employees came from Wheel 2 Wheel. They were layed off or found Hardcore a better buisness. I will check into Wheel 2 Wheel though.

Thanks,

Jeff

What about Rad Rides by Troy in Illinois? That would be a cool place to work.

Any chance that you can speak Mandarin? If so or you are interested in overseas work, I am looking for a fabricator to head up machine development at our Shenzhen shop.

Send me your resume if you are interested - [email protected]

Phil
