Question GM 4l60E for Camaro swap?

I would like to know which GM 4L60E tranny has a bell housing for a SBC and the tailhousing similar to the TH400. I have a connection to get one .... just don't know which?

Any suggestions would be appreciated .... I need one that I can rebuild w/o buying parts to make work, if there is such a tranny already set up from GM.

Thanks again .... chime in!

I have a 35,000 mile 4L60 out of a 2004 GTO available. Completely stock, I am using the GTO engine and will purchase a T-56 Tremec in the near future. The transmission has been removed and set aside (indoors)for a rainy day, someone in need. If you are interested let me know and perhaps we can work something out that is fair for the both of us.

Not sure about the tail shaft.. But most of the 90's 4L60E's will work. You can tell the LS versions from the SBC versions because the LS ones are a full circle, ie. no removable inspection cover. 2 bolt holes on the bottom attach to the oil pan.
For electronic controllers I highly recommend the US Shift unit by Baumann electronics. Easy to tune & cheaper than most.
