Your thoughts about Resto-Mod Pro-touring without Firewall tag?
I am looking at a camaro that is for sale that has had a lot of work done to make in into a pro-touring restomod car.
There is a valid clean title with the car but there is no cowl tag on the firewall!
I asked it maybe it had been put with any documentation on the car but there is not documents on the car either.
Aparently the car was built by some company then sold with out all of the above info to the owner that sold it to a dealer.
Would you be concerned about the car not having a cowl tag?
Dealer is selling as a basic Camaro only.
It should not make any difference for a restomod so long as the VIN tag is there and good. I would not touch it if there is anything wrong with the VIN tag.
cowl tag just gives options to what the vehicle has, alot of people remove the cowl tag to smooth the firewall, like mentioned above check vin tag and match it to the hidden vin on the car.
