I finally installed a tilt column for my 69 Camaro a couple weeks ago. I thought I'd post that on here and give GMTilt a thumbs up for a great product and even better customer service. I called him with two seperate issues. The second one I could have solved by looking on this forum and reading this:

I called him on a Saturday morning and he returned my call and set me on the right path.
Now for my first problem, which I would propose be added to the above thread. That problem being the difference in the turn signal canceling doohickey and horn wiring between tilt and non-tilt.

The top stuff is from the non-tilt column. You can see that there is a very shallow dish to the turn signal canceling cam. Also, the wires seem to be permanently attached to it. The lock plate is different as well and neither of these parts are interchangable between non-tilt and tilt.
The bottom is for the tilt column. You can see that the dish is much more pronounced on both the canceling cam and the lock plate.
Also, a horn wire lead is mandatory to get your horn to work.
On the tilt column it's like a side-marker light bulb. It's spring loaded and you push it in and turn it to lock.
GMTilt is going to start including this wire with his columns from now on, so hopefully you won't run into the problem I did. They are really hard to find from any local auto parts stores. In fact, I couldn't find one at all. GMTilt was kind enough to mail me one out right away. Otherwise I did find you can get them from Billet specialties or IDIDIT via Jegs.

Dorman does make one but it's kind of expensive compared to the other options.

I definitely would NOT recommend the Dorman canceling cam unless you really need a new one. The original is much better and holds the horn wire lead better.
