Default Ironworks Project - "Lowered Budget" 1967 Camaro with blown LS3, DSE, HRE wheels

Here is a project we have been working on for a while and the concept has really turned out pretty nice. I have always hated working with stock subframes on the Camaros as they hang down below the rocker a mile it seems. Well I had a customer come in that liked the idea of sucking the subframe up into the floor of the car to fix this issue and doing the exact same thing in rear. ( Not as easy as it sounds ) Basically we channeled the body of the car over the suspension all the while keeping alot of the floor stock. It still uses stock seat mounts and has the DSE subframe connectors. The car has 275-18's on the front and 325/19 HRE wheels front and rear.

With this picture you can see we did not give up any ground clearance its just made everything more compressed into the car. If this was my car it would be lacking of foot room for my big ass size 15 feet. But the car is really perfect for the customer.

SO the engine was moved up with the subframe into the body and made it pretty close for the last minute addition of an Edelbrock supercharger. We were able to get the engine under a smoothed SS hood with the reworking of the under hood structure.

After performing this Body mod I guess you would say, It kind of makes all other 1st gen Camaros seem like monster trucks.... HAHA

I don't have to make them, but I might have to reshape the very inside above the control arms as it kinda concaves there. But it turns lock to lock.

Accelerating is optional...........stopping is mandatory. Your car WILL stop one way or another.
