620HP LSX454 crate engine

My goals are to autorcross, drag race and power tour type stuff. What do you guys think of this engine?

I was a major fan of mine in my old 69 Camaro. Great power out of the GMPP catalog. I used all the GM electronics, LS7 intake. Downside: It is heavier than other aluminum block options and expensive to install all the other add ons necessary for the LSX454. (Pan, intake, coil, wires, headers, etc)

For the money, weight and performance, build or buy a stroked LS3 from one of the vendors on the forum. We have a Wegner LS3. Very pleased with the engine but there are plenty of options.
