Default LS1 with 125k miles and all the electronics for $1300

or I can get a 60k LS2 no manifold or electronics for $2500 are either price reasonable if not, what should be the target?

Neither motor has a mated transmission.

Yes I understand but lots of sellers list LQ9 and LQ4s as LS2s

That's was the intent of my question

Anyone that buys a USED motor - should expect the expense of having to rebuild it. As long as you factor that in... then it doesn't matter what motor you buy. It's a gamble. If you assume the risk and are prepared for it ($$$) great. If you think you're just going to buy a "cheap" motor and use it as is..... good luck! You might need it.
