69 Camaro 4 link

Hi Guys, i have a quick question. Does anyone have any information, good or bad about the Johnny Law triangulated 4 link rear suspension for a 69 camaro or any of the vehicles they have listed? They are advertised on E bay and have my curiosity piqued. Thanks in advance.

Some general questions to ask about the manufacturer [or any manufacturer you intend to do business with]:

1. How efficiently are your pre-purchase tech questions answered?

2. Material size and grade?

3. brand name of heim joints or style of bushings?

4. installation time?

5. a list of dealers/installers that have experience with this product?


Any reputable suspension manufacturer will be able to answer these questions [and more] confidently. It costs nothing to ask. Let us know here what you find out.

It looks identical to the art morrison kit.

I'd be worried about the factory frame rail strength at the upper link mounts to the factory frame but if you reinforce the frame I don't see why the kit wouldn't work.

Like what was said above I'd contact them and see what material they're using for the link bars/bushings etc.

Also like was said above ,Another thing to think about is install labor cost if you have to hire a shop to install it. It looks like a weld in kit not a bolt in which would add to the cost if your not comfortable with the install/have the skill.

Doesn't look bad at all for the price tho if the quality is there.

Run away. fast.

Look at any other manufacturers, ridetech, DSE, Morrison, heidts, etc. I have been to their place and bought parts in the past. Just don't do it.

Paul Horton welder series sells a similar kit priced the same.

I have never heard of that company, they are not a major player in the PT suspension market. IMO, you would be money ahead in the long run buying your 4 link from one of the forum sponsors. I avoid ebay suspension parts like the plague. You have no real idea what you may or may not actually receive. Personally, I would recommend either the Ridetech or Chassisworks triangulated 4 link suspensions. DSE is a nice rear suspension but does take a bit more work to install.
