I have never heard of extended drain. That's impressive... What oil filter do you use with that?

Back in the early 70's after Al had created his masterpiece he had to find a way to reach potential customers. The problem that he ran into was that his product was considerably more expensive than the competition. AMSOIL Ea Oil Filters (EaO, Ea15K) have one of the best efficiency ratings in the automotive market providing a filtering efficiency of 98.7 percent at 20 microns.

The EaO filters are recommended for 25,000 miles/once a year, which ever comes first.

The Ea15k filters are recommended for 15,000 miles/ once a year, which ever comes first.

These filters have a synthetic media so they will not break down over the extended drain interval like paper and cellulose filters will.

Between the extended drain interval of the motor oil and the longevity of the filters it saves me a LOTS of time and some money.
