Default Steering Column Rebuild

Since GM Tilt is not accepting orders right now, does anybody have another source for rebuilding a column for my 69 Camaro?

Try Jim Dion, (birdsandbowties). He is located in Milton, Fl. He made me a tilt wheel for my '68 Camaro, I wanted a tilt wheel with a dimmer switch on the column. His info is:850-382-7125. Really great job and very good work as well.

Jim did the column on my wife's camaro. He did a nice job. I would use him again.

Correct...Jim does do nice work, but is not and has not been taking orders online for over a year. I'd look into one of the above links..be sure to ask how long it will take.

How about doing it yourself using new parts such as these guys.

I've rebuilt quite a few myself.

I talked to Jim and told him about this thread and that I put his number here. He thanked me for lead. He said nothing about not doing any columns right now.

Default GM Tilt

I tried contacting Jim when his number was first posted. I left a voice mail and I still have not heard back from him. I just figured Jim was building the columns in his spare time.

I think he has enough work right now (local) and is not taking any orders at all online. His website use to have links to columns he had in house ready for sale...that link is not there now.
