Default **Intro** 1967 Nova SS

I have been a member on here for awhile but my car isn't exactly a g-machine so I haven't posted anything on it... until now😉

A few details on my car:
383 sbc
700r4
CPP front sub kit
Billet Specialties wheels

I got tired of the car not handling very well and not being able to fit tires up front so I just pulled the trigger on the Pro Touring subframe from TCI Engineering with Wilwood brakes🇺🇸I am pretty excited for the upgrades to come and would like to hear what people have to say about my project!

So far I have come up with two build names that I can't decide on so let's see what you think... 1st "Next Level Nova" or 2nd "Phase II Nova"

It's not letting me post pics due to file size ... what the best way to shrink them?

I use Photoshop, but that is overkill for most. There are several free programs and irfanview doesn't contain BS and (http://www.irfanview.com/) has a bulk resize option that works well. I use it all the time for quick stuff.

You are on a good path for handling! For project names I would vote for PhaseII because that is what we call our newest control arms and spindles...enjoy

I just finished installing that TCI system into a '64 for a friend. It's really nice, fit great, and has nice adjustment options to do what you want to do with it. A couple suggestions- make sure to get you column anchored as far towards the fender as possible to allow for header clearance for your steering shaft. Buy longer bolts for the rack- they're about .250 too short to grab the nylock. Lastly, the lower radiator hose is a mother to figure out. TCI claims a Mitsubishi hose fits it, but that's a no-go. Gonna have to cruise the shelf at NAPA to find what works and use a sleeve to make two sections work- this is on an LS install. Have fun! It's a great kit.
