Default 6L80E shifter help....?

Does anyone know of or can tell me where to get a nice aftermarket shifter for a 6L80 tranny besides the stock looking one that's out. I Googled and couldn't find anything . The stock looking one looks too "new car-ish" for me instead of something that flows with an old school interior, so to speak. What are others using?

Shiftworks has a kit to modify a stock console shifter for a 6L80E.

It's not on their website as far as I know but give them a call.

They likely have a six speed version of their shifters:

Any aftermarket shifter can work--it's not like you get shifter-based detents for all of the gears (as the G8 and others demonstrate with their shifters). Check out what people have done on Pirate4x4; they seem to have the widest group of people using the 6l80 in odd applications. I'll be using a super-basic (weighs about as much as a football, and the detents are bolts) circle track shifter, since I don't seem to do "nice aftermarket" . . .
