Default Floor pan removal

I'm ready to cut and replace both the front floor pans in my 67. The car is sitting on the rotesserie now, is there any need for additional support? I'm planning on doing one side at a time and leaving the majority of the trans tunnel in place. Any advice from those of you that have done this?

If it's a Conv - most people say to brace it, if it's a coupe you can do it without bracing as long as the rockers are solid. I did my coupe on a rotisserie and since I cut the entire floor out I braced it just in case. I suppose the rcokers will support the body, but why take chances.

Braces, braces, braces. You will be sorry and upset if you dont when you measure and it is tweaked or worse.

Ok, sounds like braces, The headliner is still in it, so I guess I'll have to pull that out first. The rockers are new, and all the underlying metal was good when I pulled them, and the trunk pan is new. How and where would you brace it? It's a coupe not a vert. Is it better to sit it back on the jackstands before cutting? Soon as I have something other than a shell, I'll post some more pics. Not to much to look at right at the moment.

I am also getting ready to in stall a full floor pan. I was planning on setting it on jack stands. I am planning on using sqaure tubing and running two of them from rocker panel to rocker. One towards the front and one on the back through the inside of the car. Does this sound right? any thing else to be aware of?
