Default Replacement outer door handle- does brand matter?

The thumb button is popping out of my door handle (69 Camaro). There are several brands of OEM style replacements for a range of prices. I am wondering if I should be looking for a specific brand (OER, Trim Parts, etc.), or if they are all of equal quality.

Quality is my #1 concern, but I also don't want to spend $50 if a $30 brand is just as good.

Also, do I just need the button kit? Does that fix it every time, or does the handle itself also sometimes wear to a point that the button alone won't do? I haven't taken it apart yet, and would rather order what I need before pulling it apart.

Thoughts & experiences?

Thanks for your help!
