Default Life Lesson's from SEMA!!

wow real life sucks!! Just sitting here at my desk thinking of the fond memories and life lessons I learned while in Vegas for a week. There were many things I never new or had often wandered and now I know the truth. I'll run them day by day!

Day 1 Sunday
Leave Tallhassee, FL for total 6 hour trip in Las Vegas!
-Lesson #1 Delta can turn a 6 hour trip into 12 hours
-Lesson #2 If the auto pressurize thingy does not work on the plane your ears will pop like crazy and eventually you will sit in the repair shop for a couple hours why Jimbo pops the hood to find the problem. thank God we never got off the ground.
-Lesson #3 It worth a extra $20 for a limo, than waiting in line for 2 hours at the airport for a cab

Day 2 Monday
-First days on new time is a bit much
-If you try very hard you can sneak into SEMA a day eariler and tease all you guys with photos
-4 hours sleep is acceptable for Vegas
-AJ from Overhaulin is "HOT"!!!!!
-Foose is the master!!
-Sex Sells in Vegas!!
-Sun hurts eyes after 12 hours in a "adult" library. Never thought is was 8AM when I left

Day 3 Tuesday
-First day of SEMA is unreal
-34" wheels are really big!!
-Halloween in Vegas is crazy
-Body paint is acceptable costume for women and yep men too!!
-Lingerie is also acceptable for both
-Tony Stewart will hang out with us normal folks and lose his money also playing poker.
-Pro Poker players look just like everyone else. They just leave with the money
-13 straight hours of poker is fun, but leaves you a little drained.

Day 4 Wednesday
-Leaving the poker table at 9:30AM , that you sat down at 8:30 PM the previous day is acceptable. And there are so many people at SEMA that don't notice you are wearing the same clothes from yesterday
-3 hours is all you can do of SEMA with no sleep for 40 hours.
-Naps are great!
-Lateral G dinner is the shiznits!! nice job!
-Sandlin lumber guy has some nice rides
-Getting drunk and driving racing go carts with the boys from Prodigy Customs is lots of fun. Till Frank puts you in the wall!
-Poker can be addictive

Day 5 Thursday
-SEMA is still active at 3PM when you finally drag out of bed and get there
-PT.com puts on a kick ass dinner!!
-The Greek Isles hotel has a old school vegas feel, expect to see Capone in the corner
-Kitty Litter can be delicious
-hanging out with all you guys is nuts

Day 6 Friday-Last day
-Getting to SEMA before noon is well different
-Bob Huff is a pinstriping master
-34" wheels are really way to big
-I think to fit in next year, I'll have to lift my first gen on 34's
-The booth girls get hotter as the week goes by, or maybe it was the lack of a female companion for week. Either way they are hot!
-Once again playing poker into the wee morning is fun

Day 7, fly home
-You can sleep and recover on your trip back home
-Talladega night movie is not as funny as I wished
-Getting home to your wife and not saying "hey hunny I missed you" but going straight into the stories of the cars and women. Will get you a place on the couch for your first night home.

Day 8-Home
-You can sleep for 24 hours straight!!

Sorry for that check man, I guess neither of us was willing to lift, LOL! Sorry Jimmy (Vassar) had to leave, but he would have just stomped our asses anyway.

Really enjoyed hangin with you, I wsh I would have done some poker myself, probably would have been cheaper then Blackjack!

Flu here also. up at 3:00AM sweating out as we speak. Sounds like a lot of us got it. I cannot understand, warm days, cool nights, liquor, parties, lack of sleep, how could we get so run down?
