Default wheel teaser

I've never really introduced my project or anything since joining the forum, so I guess this will be my first introduction.

I first bought the car in my junior year of high school, which was about 6 years ago. The car has been a very slow project, mainly because of my own time and money constraints.

The body work was finished late last summer, and my wheels (after 6 months of waiting) finally arrived. This is just a quick teaser shot I took since I was so excited about getting them on. The suspension still needs to be played with a bit to get the fitment I was looking for, but heres the picture anyways.

The wheels are 18x8.5 in the front, with 5.25 inches backspacing, and 18x10 in the rear with 5.75 inches backspacing.

They are called Work VS-XX

Its a japanese brand, found most often on "drift" cars, or other japanese style tuner cars.

Work makes another wheel called the VS-TX, which is also a very nice mesh style wheel. You may want to consider it if you like wheels like these.

you actually need to order them through a distributor with a custom offset and bolt pattern... thats why it took close to 6 months for the wheels to be made, assembled, then shipped from japan.

hopefully today ill be able to get some better pics

The wheels without tires were close to $3000. Not too bad for 3 piece wheels.
