I'm sorry but, let's leave the fricken stuffed animals at home. It's a Plymouth Superbird Convertible for God's sake! Let's treat it with a little dignity and respect shall we?

I was not too impressed with the show either. Did you notice the rooms were really dark? I liked the location in the Minneapolis Convention center better. There were a couple cars I really admired, many that I didn't give a second look.

I was amazed at the number of people there - it was wall to wall people.

My kids liked getting a picture with 'Mater. Their dad liked the Car Craft girls. The mini-donuts were good....

Our SCCA booth had 2 cars. An ITS-Class BMW M3 and a Track Day Factory 5Cobra (600 HP worth). The Cobra won Best Kit car and Best Hand Built Racecar. The M3 got second place Production Based Race car.

Other odd things - I saw a guy walking around in shorts on Saturday. I think the high temp Saturday was something like -5F. The line to get the Pro-Wrestler's autograph must have been 90 minutes long.

Tom you are 100% right.. it was too dark and way to small of a venue.

Also, most of the cars were junk!! did you go to the second level just left of Mater? Half of those cars were complete crap! (see pictures of a few)

I was severely disappointed to see that the guest of honor was a professional wrestler... how un-carlike can you get?! That line had to be over 2 hours long... it was full when i got there and full when i left.

My friends car was there and that was cool to see, the Northstar Camaro Club booth had his 69 camaro with the fuel injected corvette motor, dealer installed, all original... very cool to see that thing running!

I've learned to wait for the GSTA show instead of wasting time at this one.

Maybe I'll see some of you local guys there?
