Default 63 Rambler Wagon

1963 Rambler Wagon

Done: Air Ride Technologies Airbag suspension, In the works: rebuilt stock 6cyl, 3 on tree, interior, paint.... Future mods: include big billet wheels and sound system. Not a true G Ride, but a start. I am going to get it rolling and clean then work on major hi performance mods in the future. Painting it the OG color teal/blue, the white is primer as things get done. It will get attention regardless cause I sure don't see these much anymore.

OG paint Sanded Down ready for Primer-not a spot of rust on this wagon!

Primer down

Default Interior, Engine Compartment Paint

Seats are done along with the engine and door jams finally sprayed. Roof to be sprayed this week.
Stock Color is Aegean Aqua Poly p-47 or P-47A...adding some pearl to give it some pop.

Yeah the dumb thing as a torque tube which makes modifications to engine tranny major. Going to roll with the stock rebuilt tranny and engine for a while and do performance mods later...as money permits, I want to enjoy the car for a while by working on basics...body, interior, wheels, suspension height, basic mechanical, then do performance mods as it will be no small issue to do these on a rambler. It will have looks before performance but I will be able to enjoy it for a year or so before doing engine and drive line changes if I decide I really need to do so.

Default More updates

My project seems like a joke compared to all the insane rides on this forum but I gotta take it in stages and allow my finances to catch up to my over all plan, mod level 1 on its way to completion. Level 2 will be engine/tranny/subframe change.

straight as an arrow

Final paint done

That cars no joke, it's the real deal. I don't even waste my time looking at the credit card cars anymore. I'd be all over that thing at a show.

Your car is really cool...hope to have a similar look on mine when it's done. The engine is taking forever. Started the color polishing on the paint and fitting on the new chrome bumpers and old trim this up coming week and hope to have it together in the next few driving again. It's been a LONG time since I have driven the wagon.
