I'm just curious....has frank from prodigy customs not told you guys about his 17" snowflake project he's working on for second gens? I think you guys would be interested in it....

ok, well in addition to the one-off's hes making for emptynest, he's got this cookin' too...

"So here's the deal: Frank (ProdigyCustoms) has made arrangements to get the 17" 1-piece snowflakes built that were talked about in the other two threads. Until now it was only in the "investigation" stage and it was still up in the air... but now it's a go if he has enough interested people. Price is still going to be "right around $2000 a set" (Frank's words... and what he's been saying all along). Final design is still pending, but Frank has sent a 15x8" wheel to the wheel manufacturer (forgeline) for "reverse engineering"... so presumably they'll come out looking like a 15x8" version, only larger. Other possibile sceario I'd think would be they'd look like a 17" version of the 19" ones he's making for his Project Emptynest. Which is not a bad look at all IMHO. In fact, quite cool and if they turn out like those or just like a larger 15x8" example I'll take either.

Just to consolidate all of the pics into one thread, here are all of the various renderings and photoshops that have appeared in various threads (and just as an FYI... the black bolts that appear around the outer rim of the wheel will no be present on a a 1-piece wheel... these renderings are really of the 3-piece forged wheels that Frank is/has designed for Project Emptynest... but this will help you get an idea): "







Frank's looking to get together 10 orders for a run. Right now I believe we have 3 definite yes's and about 6 probably/maybe/i'd like to have more info's.

Is anybody on here interested?!?! You know they're going to be sick with Frank behind the project!
