I have to say, I recently got a set of the stainless steel door strikes. These things are awesome. The quality of the part is outstanding; the washers are the same diameter that I took off so there are no problems with paint. I was a bone head when I took the old ones off, and I did not use a razor knife around the old striker so a small chip of paint came off. No big deal. The best part is besides the look, it totally fixed the way my doors shut. I do not have to shut the door hard at all!! I have new hinges on the car and they were adjusted properly but they never shut with little effort. Well they do now!! I recommend this product to anyone these are not just for show
