Default DSE rear shock crossmeber Q for Quad Link

I have my car set up with a mini tub kit and the dse shock crossmember in a 67 camaro. Its welded in straight across. I was wondering if it is in the proper location to convert the car from leaf to quad link? Im not sure if its to far forward now. Anyone done this conversion?

Thanks Rich

email dse, but the quadralink crossmember goes in behind axle centerline so that the coil over mounts are in the middle of the crossmember, i think the leaf spring crossmember is mounted at axle centerline.

It is not in the correct position.
Quad and non staggered crossmembers are not the same .

the forward side of the shock crossmember (front of car side) should be 36-1/4 from a 69 tailpanel where the trunk pan flanges up to be welded to tail panel on each side just inside the bumper reinforcements, this meaning the back side of crossmember should be 30-1/4 from tail panel, putting the quadra link shocks in the middle of the crossmember
