Default 57 plymouth car in tulsa

as some of you know the 57 plymouth that was burried in tulsa in front of the
courthouse in 1957 in a time capsule . was to be unearthed friday , well they opened the case today . it is 1/4 full of water , the water line has been as high as 3/4 full . but the car still is inside the plastic bag and still covered in grease , they wont open the bag till friday so we will see how bad the car is then .

Man that really sucks I wanted to see this thing in perfect condition.
maybe it will only be bad on the bottom half of the car the rest of the car will look good.
If the interior got water then its probably got some nasty mold on it.

Looks like they probably would have been better off leaving it in a corn field....oh well, it was a valiant effort.

The last few images here show the car pulled out of the ground and put on the truck for delivery to the ceremony. (still in the bag, but interesting nonetheless)
