Default ProTouring 442's Pro Touring 442

Well, I figure I should document a little of my progress. Here we have the under hood shot:



Here is the 80's Camaro console I am modifying. I am widening it to clear the shifter.



Here is the console top sitting on the remains of the console to give an idea of how it should look.

Ah, an update! Actually, I have been working on the 442 a bit lately, this is just the one thing I have stopped to photograph!

Anyway, in the midst of designing my console I decided I needed a shifter knob. Of course, it couldn't just be any off the shelf item so here it is...

Thank you! It's supposed to look "period" if you will, but in an updated sort of way (read: not a ball), like something you might have found in an upscale sports car. Here is an older shot of the dash. The lower teak is yet to be cleared, but you get the picture.
