Default why is 69 so popular?

why does the 69 camaro seem so popular over the 67 or 68? i could be wrong but it sure seems like it.

69 just doesnt have that ill whoop your ass look...and thats important to me i honestly think its just because more were produced but i myself almost bought a 69 but it turned out that it had more bondo than sheet metal but if theres no performance differences im good with a 68!

now i do want to add one more thing scotts ls7 powered 69 that was published in camaro performer mag a few months ago is pretty much my total inspiration for my car but baby blue with white racing stripes. all i need to do now is hit the lottery
