Default Rushforth finally bought a project!

went with Jason tonight to pick up a SUPER clean 65 Buick Special. all stock and original. Totally stock and clean. no rust anywhere. I don't want to give away the build. but lets just say his credit card will be smokin tomorrow. This car is going to be one of my favorite PT cars ever!!

I know I know- this thread is useless without pics...Jason will chime in

Chris

I was going to wait to announce it until I had some pics so i didn't get the dreaded "This thread is worthless without pics" banner so I'll get on it this week and do a rendering soon thereafter.

The car is so damn nice, it really doesn't need much on the exterior and it even has a nice paint job in a color i love so the big first change is going to be the most important; Wheels and stance!

Any of you A-Body guys know the simple fix for putting a late model quick-ratio steering box in here so I can do a u-turn without a brody knob?

This is my first A-Body and first Buick so I'm open to suggestions, ideas and tips!

Thanks for pushing me to get this thing, Chris!

OK, let see what we can do. LS9, Air bags on all 4 corners, 20" wheels and tires. I'd go with a A/T so you can just sit back and cruse. MIni Tubs, Moser Tru Track, Send it to Tracy for the interior and just let him do the magic. Use the car to promote a new wheel line and just write the whole thing off on you taxes. Melanie is going to look good in this car. I can see it now.
