Default G BAR type Kits available ?,,

i have a 69 camaro which im about to mini tub using dse gear,, I have a couple of questions if anyone can help..?
I have a ricks vapor worx tank in there now to suit my injection setup.. can i keep this with the DSE minitub ? im thinking about a G bar setup instead of rear leaf springs.. What other brands/manufacturers make these g bar suspensions? ive only seen chris alstons but no others.. I want something with not much in the way of cutting etc as my skills are limited..I thought by eliminating the rear leafs i may be able to keep my fuel tank as it is ?

thanx , Gav

ridetech is bolt in and is basically the same as the version 1 g bar. The new g bar is weld in. other rear setup to look at with minimal welding is speedtech.

you can reuse your tank with 4 link and minitub if it has notched corners to clear exhaust. if you decide to run offset shackles and leafs you will need a narrowed tank

Gav, I have an Alston G-link with a standard width non-notched tank. it can work with custom tailpipes.

Default Ridetech

The Ridetech 4 link was a pretty easy install. It can be a bolt-in, but I got a friend to also weld mine in. I have a stock gas tank and have 2 1/2 in. tailpipes routed out the back. I also have a stock-width 12-Bolt rearend on my car. Narrowing the rear is an option only if you have to have the deep 6" wheel lip look. My lips are 4" and look OK to me (and this setup cost me less $$). You could get your rear wheels widened 2 inches to the inside and it would work perfectly. I was originally going to get my 18x10's widened, but someone locally gave me a great price on those wheels & tires.

BTW...I love your stack fuel injection setup and would like to someday get one for my '69. How about some pics?

Gav, just be careful if you get the Alston G-link alot of people had issues getting the correct ride height sorted. The kit needed some slight modifications like shorter springs or some parts they released after to help with this. Just research it before you buy. Also, I think my Moser rear is 54.5" or 55" wide. And my rear wheels are 12" wide with 5.375" BS
