Default Need firewall advice 67 camaro.. DSE, Idid it..

I am moving onto the firewall work soon. I was Wondering if anyone could share some pics or ideas for the steering column and hydraulic clutch cylinder mounting. I am leading toward the DSE plate, and an Iditit column. I was curious if this is the right way to go or if their were better options for the clutch master mounting...

i was looking at the ATS plate but read it flex's excessively? As far as the column i was looking for a nice clean look, i noticed the DSE master mount kinda interferes with the stock steering column flange.. are their clean options for this as well

Thanks for any pics or advice..

I prefer a Wilwood triple mount m/c pedal assembly. Make my own plate where needed.

And some sort of an aluminum column support. I like the Billet Specialties piece, as it has no visible hardware.

If you are not doing firewall modifications, or trying to minimize them, the flaming river camaro column mount is a really nice piece. The lower firewall plate is a nice aluminum plate with a swivel 2 inch mount for the column. Use a new gasket and it looks really good.

Only used the ATS master mount once, didnt see any problems with it, just make sure the pushrod isnt adjusted too long and bottoming the master and it shouldnt flex?

Thanks 64, I ordered the DSE plate and plan on welding it in and filling the gap with 1/8 inch so it looks finished. I saw that flaming river plate online and was considering it.. most people go IdidIt so i assumed their columns were better? Do you know if the flaming river firewall plate works with the IdidIt column?
