Default Update on my LS1-swap

It has taken longer than expected, I have another life too you know like work and such.

Anyway here it is. The engine is in place and ready for start up soon, just finishing the wiring and off we go.

What is left to do here is brackets for the AC-pump, but I will start the engine first to iron out eventual bugs in the installation. There will also be a aluminum pipe for the airfilter. The filter will be behind the left headlight.

The work on the wiring harness is in full progress, I will have the glovebox full of relays, fuses and cables. What you see on this images has been revised with more relays. In total there will be 9 relays and 12 fuses to service the engine and the AC system.

I hope to have it started before I go to 'Vegas.

I was wondering how that was going for you. Any idea when you might have it back on the road?

I hope to get it started very soon, just a few wires left to fix. Then I will take it a few laps around the block, just to check everything out. Maybe put down a few rubber lines somewhere

The winter is coming up fast so it will not be ready before that. I have to make a new dashpanel and center console. That will take some effort before it will be done. So next spring will be the goal.

Starting it up will give me a lot of inspiration over the winter.

Good to see some progress, Jan. I'm sure you're stoked, as it's been a while since the car has been on the road.
