Default S-Curve a clean bottom..

The chassis is about done, I need to finish the rear brake lines fuel lines and exhaust up so I decided to strip the bottom of the body to paint it, I like a finished car top and bottom, so off with that 70's inch thick undercoat and WOW what a clean old car, I knew it was clean but not this clean, so about 40 bucks in chemicals and the steam cleaner we have a nice clean paint surface to work with, so far about 9400.00 in the project and 90 percent of the stuff to finish it.

Nice. Wish my A-Body was that clean underneath.

What type of "chemicals" were used?

The steam cleaner is a older Aaladin, I ran it at 225* and took most the grime and undercoat off, then used brake cleaner to soften the rest of the undercoating, another pass with the steam cleaner and a final bath with aircraft stripper. worked quite nice and was not alot of money.

That's a very clean car!
I stripped my '67 GTX floor and frame down to the metal with one coat of Easy-Off oven cleaner...It's got to be the original formula, and wear protection. It'll eat you alive!!

Sweet!

That's a great idea for ridding the car of the grime..

Its a 455 Olds, I tried to clean up the olds and give it a better look, As far as the brackets I made them still working on some of them to keep it clean, I have quite a few Prochargers laying around and decided a little psi never hurt, My old business did alot of work for Dan Jones owner of ATI, In the early years of Procharger, and I still have alot of stuff left from R&D.
