Default WOT Video

Been meaning to get a WOT video for a while now, and after a friend and I mounted the new Nitto drag radials Saturday night... what better excuse than to go try them out. The rears are Nitto 555R 335/30/18 and the fronts are Nitto 555 285/40/18.

WOT Video

I left at about 2800, that's what most of the C6ZO6 guys are doing. I'll have to get it to the track and let some air out and see what it 60' and figure out how the car wants to be launched. I didn't heat them up and they have about 35psi in them, so it spun all the way through 1st gear. It hooked in 2nd though, which is a huge improvement over the Pilot Sports. With those tires, it would spin all the way through 2nd gear and a bit into 3rd.

I love the Corsa mufflers! Driving down the road, you can't even hear the exhaust, but go WOT and they have a great sound.

And with the Nitto's mounted...

I wonder if they launch better than my R888s???

They are both dimentionally the same and are both 100 treadwear. I want to try the dragstrip but don't really want to get another set of tires/wheels.

BTW.. your car sounds GREAT! Very nice..
