Default 1969 Turbo Mustang Fastback P/T

The recent changes to our EU import taxation, inspection and registration of classic and modified cars, means that the GT2 has now become to expensive (for me) to import and register in Denmark. So here it comes...

Ultimate pro-touring Mustang FOR SALE

The project stands as shown in the latest progress update. It basically just needs finishing of the electricals (at ~90%), assembly of interior, doors, rubber & glass, body panels, some exhaust and then dial-in. All the nice, custom and expensive stuff is there and waiting, so you are looking at minor parts + labor. CPR Streetmachines have done the build and will want to finish it. They are one of the best shops I have ever worked with and are knowing, always true to promises and fair in pricing.
This is not a budget build, so be realistic in price expectations. Trades considered (Mustang). PM me if you a serious and want to discuss.

$100.000 obo. Located in San Diego.

Just out of curiosity What does it run roughly to register a car out of country. I know a shop that builds/ships cars overseas pretty much and never heard him comment on issues of import/registration. Although thats the customers expense not the shops so he can see why I here no negatives from the shop Im talking about.
Hopefully theres a resolution, the stang looks to nice so far to part with.

to answer your question we now have to pay 18% customs, and 25 % sales tax... (of the value of the car) AND a registration fee and on a mustang like that you could propably get by with 10K registration fee.. so its close to 50k as of jan1. this year....

This kind of project is too far from stock to "slip under the radar" under the new rules, meaning that it will only partially go as a classic when it comes to registration. I could "fix" the paperwork but would most likely get caught on a later inspection, roadside check or at a car show. Too much to worry about. Thx deuce_454, but I have plenty of cars!
