Default New kid on the block

Hey,
My name is Michael Ruszkowski and i am 17 yrs old. I have a 69 camaro that i bought when i was 14 that my dad and i are restoring. It is an SS but it is not numbers matching. I am putting a 383 stroker in it w/ a 700r4. I want to get some 18's for it. I havent decided on what wheels i want...maybe billet specialties slx37 or slx45, or intro pentia but they are all quite expensive. Right now it is being painted and should be done any day now!!! I cant wait till its done. We are hoping to have it finished this spring... as long as it is before prom i will be overjoyed. lol. I really love this site and spend way too much time on it at home and at school. I didnt discover the forum until recently and i am really excited to have access to all of the knowledge that all the members have. I cant wait to meet some of the guys whose cars i have been drooling over for months.
-Mike

Welcome aboard, Michael. Sounds like a killer project. Be sure to post some pics when you get it back from paint.

Welcome to the Forums, Mike. It's great to hear you and your Dad doing the car together. Good luck on getting it ready for Prom. That would be great.

Welcome aboard, sounds like you have a nice project on your hands. Post some pics when you get a chance. And my vote is for the Intro wheels.

Welcome to the site. That is cool that you and your dad have a common interest. How lucky are you to have a 69 camaro at your age. I didn't get my 1st gen until I was in my late 20's.

I know you will appreciate it the car a whole lot more since you and your dad are doing the work instead of just having a set of keys dropped in your lap to a shinny new car.

This forum is full of knowledge and awesome cars.
Enjoy your prom.
