Default New member and new project

Hi all, I've been a lurker for a while. I've had a 68 mustang coupe since I was 13 and last week I found a solid 68 fastback to become a new project.

Don't mind the gnarly 70's color combo, teardown begins over Thanksgiving holidays.

Most of the details are still undecided, but here's what I'm thinking so far:

Classic lines, no shelby clone here
60's eggshell white w/ black int
427 windsor block
TKO 600
Strange 9"
coilover front
discs all around

what do you think, any ideas?

Welcome, Jeremy. Looks like the perfect victim for the treatment. Keep the pics coming.

yeah, it almost seems like every camaro ever built is on here. In a few years every camaro ever built will be a pro touring car. Except for the thousands that are already pro street.

Nice project.. gotta ask.. how much for the fastback?

I was looking but they were all crazy priced..

What are ya going to do for suspension? I would suggest looking at the Chris Alston Total Control stuff..
