And what's the deal with the black stripe in the paint booth.

This is Steve on Bill's computer:

Here's the deal with the March issue.

It was set to be a "Paint and body issue". For this we needed to shoot a cover. Johnny asks me to find a bright colored musclecar that we could shoot in a paint booth type deal.

Well, my '68 was at a paint shop and is a fairly bright color. Plus the guys at Best Of Show Coachworks are great to work with. The car isn't done but it was done enough for the shot. The graphics people killed the real color of the car. It looks like tomato soup on the cover. The pic inside the magazine (the paint story) was shot by me and more closely resembles the real color of the car.

So, I sorta lucked out to get the cover..

Next month (April) the issues is all about the story. Three stories and sharing the cover.
