The chassis is about done, I need to finish the rear brake lines fuel lines and exhaust up so I decided to strip the bottom of the body to paint it, I like a finished car top and bottom, so off with that 70's inch thick undercoat and WOW what a clean old car, I knew it was clean but not this clean, so about 40 bucks in chemicals and the steam cleaner we have a nice clean paint surface to work with, so far about 9400.00 in the project and 90 percent of the stuff to finish it.
The steam cleaner is a older Aaladin, I ran it at 225* and took most the grime and undercoat off, then used brake cleaner to soften the rest of the undercoating, another pass with the steam cleaner and a final bath with aircraft stripper. worked quite nice and was not alot of money.
