Steve has one on Penny and he said it make the driverside exhaust routing a bit tricky.
I've read some disturbing things about the late-model F-body version of the McLeod SFI bellhousing over on LS1Tech.com - seems there are some unexplained issues with alignment or something else damaging the trans.

In my case, I decided to use the stock bellhousing with a tailored bellhousing blanket from these folks:

(scroll down, second from bottom).

The blanket is probably not technically NHRA legal, nor is it probably as absolutely safe as an SFI bell, but it's certainly safer than nothing and has the additional advantages of much lower weight and no exhaust clearance issues ...
