Over 80K invested sounds like crazy to me. It is a fairly stock car with a basic smallblock. I have no idea how they could have invested $80K in that thing.

Well, that's counting the $70k Alan Johnson paint job..

That's sounds about like someone I heard that said they had $36K invested in a stock rebuild Iron head Ford 460.

That's a great car.Some one needs to lift the 1972 & older rule at good guys.That way the car could really be enjoyed on some autox events.I really like 3rd gen camaro's but most of the really nice events in my area have this rule of 72 & older.You would think with car counts down people would wake up and smell the coffee.

I agree I think Good Guys need to put a rolling like 25-30 year or older rule instead of the 1972 or older.

Some of their events are at capacity now. Ever been to Columbus? The cars wont even fit in the fair grounds. Des Moines is packed too.
