Over 80K invested sounds like crazy to me. It is a fairly stock car with a basic smallblock. I have no idea how they could have invested $80K in that thing.

That's sounds about like someone I heard that said they had $36K invested in a stock rebuild Iron head Ford 460.

That's a great car. Some one needs to lift the 1972 & older rule at good guys. That way the car could really be enjoyed on some autox events.I really like 3rd gen camaro's but most of the really nice events in my area have this rule of 72 & older. You would think with car counts down people would wake up and smell the coffee.

I agree I think Good Guys need to put a rolling like 25-30 year or older rule instead of the 1972 or older.

Some of their events are at capacity now. Ever been to Columbus? The cars wont even fit in the fair grounds. Des Moines is packed too.

Come on now---this is clearly in the running for the "BADDEST 69 CAMARO OF ALL TIME". Maybe the mods can move it over to that thread---LOL

lets not forget that the reactor mustang is going up as well on sat night .....

( wonder if its to late to sell my soul, my spline, a kidney and a couple bags of blood .... and if needed .....sperm and one one of "cases" that holds them but i digress)

as for the comment about the goodguys age rule ...... i agree with the above statement ...... the Ohio fairgrounds in Columbus struggles to handle the amount of the entries it has now and is turning cars away for thoes that have not been ..you seriously could spend all 3 days walking around even using the sky-tran and you still wouldnt see all of the cars .... and lets not mention if you want a decent parking spot on the property for your car .... get in line no later than 5am ..... ( gates open at 8 for show entries)

So the final score is...

Sold for $29,000 (gavel)..

Seller gets $26,680

Buyer pays $31,900

So if the guy bought for $25,000.. paid to put it in BJ and paid to have it shipped (which he did since I saw it being loaded on a Reliable truck) then he got his speculating butt kicked.

Wonder if it got TV time?
