Isn't this the second transmission supplier with delivery issues popping up?

OK I cancelled the order. Will give them a week to process the deposit refund and then initiate a chargeback.

I have spoken with Phoenix who are highly recommended by Steve at Twist Machine and they can help me with this aside from the crossmember and shifter which I think are within my abilities. They are also local to me which is a bonus.

Thanks to everyone for the responses and PM's. I sincerely appreciate it.

I don't know how long its been since you have given the deposit but I would initiate the chargeback right away as the credit card company does take sometime to process the chargeback and if in the meantime they credit your deposit back just let the CC company know its been resolved. That was the problem I was having with them -- they kept telling me that they couldn't credit my card and that they would mail a cheque to me, once I posted on the forums they were magically able to credit my card.

My assumption was that I would have to give them a fair opportunity to give me a refund before initiating the chargeback but I will give the credit card company a call. It has only been 30 days so in theory I have another 60 days to get my chargeback.

Thanks,
Don

This is all sad to hear because I have bought 4 complete TKO 600 kits from them and just got one last month and they have been very accurate on everything and times that they have told me,good luck and hope you get your refund.

Yep... Phoenix is close to us down in Weatherford. I've used their products in the past and haven't had any issues. My machinist also has a local transmission shop he uses for his high performance builds and is very happy with them.

His Ebay record is perfect. Seems odd. No complaints.

As near as I can tell he only sold one transmission kit on ebay last year. The rest of the sales are parts and some personal items. The issues are related to transmission kit deliveries and payment, especially for their newer transmissions.

He has to be careful not to deliver on ebay because they will get the customers money back if he does not deliver as specified. The negative feedback will also impact sales.
