You are doing a great job so far,it does not have to be high end build to be appreciated around here, the way you are doing a lot of the work yourself gets tons of respect from me,good luck with the car and your move and like Rick said I hope your not moving all those cars.

Nope, those aren't my cars. The owner is letting me use his garage for my build. He restores old British roadsters.

Thanks for the compliments. I'm a little bummed at the course the build has taken, but when I can afford paint, new rear springs and some wheels, it should be close to getting back in the direction I wanted.

Well it's running, and running well, but I still have a million loose ends to finish up. I have a ton of wiring and something is wrong with either the driver's side axle shaft or the rear brake. It grinds once every rotation. I'll have to trouble shoot it in March when I get to Oklahoma. Here's a short video of it running after the first fire up.

I'm also starting to look for a good 17" wheel to stay in my budget. I was thinking Vintage Wheel Works V45. I need to find out how to fit a 275 in the back with my C clip eliminators. The backspace is going to be off a little because of the spacers.

I just got back from overseas and got one last cruise out of her before I have to put her on the ship. When we get settled in Oklahoma, I'm gonna put her back in the garage to work out some bugs.

I need to clean up the ground wire off the battery. I don't like the short wire running straight from the battery like that. I also need to hide some other wires and wire up my electric choke. I got a bad master cylinder from the parts store, but they're doing me right, so I'll bench bleed and install the new one on the mainland.

I didn't have time to paint my new front valance and the headlight doors are giving me grief. The passenger side opens, but the motor keeps buzzing like it's still trying to open, and the driver's side doesn't open. Once again, issues I'll tackle when I get it to the mainland. At least I got one last island cruise out of her. The motor is really strong too. I can't wait to drive it with all the bugs worked out.
