Although there has been several issues with multiple suppliers shipping product. Whether the company being small or large they still need to promise a commitment date for shipping.
I said it before, Its like telling a customer your going to start there project this week and then show up 3 weeks later or longer. Not Happening!
I can not speak fof Tyler but with the Anvil thing going on and part time ATS he definitey has his hands full. Hope this gets resolved between the two of you.

Thats the other problem in all this. Ill be placing a large order with Anvil but I dont want to deal with Tyler. I guess best thing to do is call Anvil and ask for someone else.

Best thing for Tyler to do is sell ATS to a parts vendor, or sell 49% to someone that has the time and resources to continue the parts.

Just me 2 cents

I work a full time job and I'm doing some part time work in the garage and selling stuff on e-bay. Its not easy but you have to commit to it.

It's funny how everybody is mad at ATS for there crappy shipping and poor service where were you guys a year or two ago. That's when I ordered my spindle along with about 10 other parts from ATS got here in 3 weeks when Tyler was doing this full time he had no problems shipping orders. But nobody bought parts from him even though they are BAD ASS then once everybody heard he was going out of business these were the parts to get. Get over fellas he has had alot of change in his life as of late ( not gonna air his business out there for ya). I know that this has been said before. But i believe thet he is truly doing the best he can. You try to assemble over 100 spindles on your own and have the bearing manfacture not come through for you, lets see how your customer service is when your a one man deep shop. He has even gone as far as to get extra space to get ATS up and running part time I believe(dont quote my on that). I have talked to Tyler several times and hung out in his shop in Vegas very cool guy very down to earth and takes the time to talk to like a person instead of talking to you like a creditcard. Sorry if this is long but if you had read the terms when you bought your parts SIR you have seen he charges everybody a restocking fee. These are not cookie cutter parts and are very well built. And buy the way I have been waiting as long as you for stuff I ordered back in January had I know he was going down this path I would have sucked it up and bought earlier. I know he will fill my order and send it out when he can. He has emailed servearl time when i have asked for a status updated and have gotten a respone even though it may not be the one I want. Rant over Good luck Tyler getting my popcorn ready as well..

First I think the frustration understandable.

But the way I look at it, it is far better for the community to still have ATS parts be available at all (and at current prices). Rather than have them be completely unavailable or sold to another vendor who might end up doubling the part's prices to recoup their investment.

To the OPs post, recharging a restocking fee for an incomplete oil pan seems pretty cheesy.

Hey thanks for calling me sir,lol I know the restocking fee and its understandable if I would have wanted to return it because I changed my mind. Well I changed my mind because he LIED! Yep that good guy of yours straight up lied to me about it being in stock. I will admit the spindles are something else, very nice! The pan, well, is nice. BUT he could have sanded the rust off of it before clearing it. I was looking past the rust and just wanted the parts I was promised on time. I was trying to get the car on the ground with the motor in before baby was born. Thats why I asked about it being in stock. Yes its not the end of the world. The baby is here now and the parts are still not. But I REFUSE to do business with someone that knowingly takes the order after telling me the parts are in stock and ready to go.
I guess I need to call my CC company.

Sorry that is just not true. I ordered my spindles in like Jan/Feb 08 and it took until the fall to get them. I'm sure the people who ordered then, when he actually had them got them in a reasonable amount of time but the long delays and lack of reponses has been a pretty constant thing.

Hey Congratulations on the arrival of your Baby, I own 2 businesses and no matter which way you look at it, the buck stops with the owner of the business, if its part time, its still your problem, I wish people would stop trying to defend someone that just flat out isn't living up to the expectations of what it is to be in business, full or part time. all you ask for is people to be honest and up front.

Yeah, he had shipping and customer service issues long before he went out of business.
