Default Y block on fuel lines or not

If I just run the fuel line into one of my rails and then run a crossover to the other and then a line out of it to the fuel regulator is that any different then running a Y-block then a line to each rail and then two lines to the regulator?

Do you have to run a return style fuel system? I'm going to dead head my system.

I'd go with the Y and feed each fuel rail separately, in parallel, the way Aeromotive recommends. Especially if you have a big fuel pump. I plumbed it that way in a twin turbo engined car I had using the same pump as you and never had a problem.
