We have been selling Spintech. Be warned which mufflers you buy. We have it on Jagarangs Firebird, and it si LOUD!, I mean Holy s--t loud! And a bit of a drone too. So we are going to be making some changes. The stuff saves space, no doubt, just order bigger muffler then you think you need.

For reference, on Kevins car we are using the mufflers they show video of a Yellow.

He responded by slowly rattling off every part number and quantity we would need and then putting together an order. I suggest you do the same. Be sure to say that Steve at Twist Machine referred you so that you get the same treatment. He was very patient and thorough. Note that this is for a full custom system. There is no such thing as an off the shelf oval system. Dr. Gas is a great bunch of people as well. And they are the originators of the X-pipe.

I will do that.

Excellent information everyone, THANK YOU!!

I know its not going to be cheap, but its the only route I can see at this time.
Ive done some research and was disappointed to find out they do not manufacture a oval 90 degree elbow that bends up. For example a 90 degree elbow that would go over the rear axle in oval the horizontal way. They only make 90 degree oval elbows that turn out sideways.

You're on the right track. You'll buy some straight pipe and mufflers, obviously. You will also by some 45's and 90's to make tailpipes. Getting around the gas tank is the beyotch. And then get a different type of 45 to make the x-pipe.

Here's them Spintech part numbers for our 68 Big Block Camaro with Air Ride. Figure on using the same pieces for a Quadra-Link:

3530TR 3.5" to 3.0" Collector Round to Oval Transition -2
XVL3 3" Oval X-Pipe
3045VL 3" oval x 45 degree elbows -4 (for X pipe I believe)
3045VLX 3" oval x 45 degree -4 (for tailpipe fabrication)
3090VLX 3" oval x 90 degree -4 (for tailpipe fabrication)
4991-3 3" oval Pro Shootout Mufflers -- Extra loud and obnoxious in an ear splitting sorta way (not my car) -2
30VL40 40" sections of 3" oval straight tubing -4 Should be more that enough for headpipe, X pipe and tailpipe fabrication.

Spent about $1000 (not my money) ENJOY!!
