my car has been 100% in shop so far. I will be getting help from a local mechanic with the engine and transmission. Interior and paint will also be done at home. Oh, I did have rhino-liner sprayed on the underbody, out of shop.

I've done everything to my project in my 2 car garage. I'll leave the paint to the experts at Autokraft, though.

Default Garage Built

i do all my own work , except paint and body(done it before but need so much room and the mess)I let a shop do that - or a buddy- thats why my car has been at shop for 2 years+ i have self build rear end and eng/trans waiting for him to get it done , after having a shop years ago tell me they would install a 350 in my camaro - and get a 327 that soon started using oil die to 1 bad piston/rings on 1 cylinder among other things they screwed up like putting wrong spark plugs in heads and a few other things I figured I could screw it up just as bad as they did for alot less money ! I am not a good mechanic but im still learning now if i ever get my car back.....
im pretty tired of reading about everybodys progress on their rides here over the last 2 years and i got NOTHIN , its killen me

I know the feeling . I started to feel like a benched player on here, invested in the game but not part of it. Starting to get a little "game" time though .

Just think, when you get your car back, you have a lot of stuff ready for it .

I did everything that I had the experience and/or tools to do. Basically everything except for the painting, welding and transmission/rear axle rebuilding.
