Default Met Scott and Jody Today

Went to the Birmingham leg of the Power tour and got to meet Scott and Jody in person. Also got to see the sweet 69 Chevelle they are driving. They both looked a little road weary as it was raining to beat the band a few times during their trip. I can tell you this, they are as decent and good of guys as you'll ever meet. Can't wait till we all can get together at SEMA.

Briefly met Charlie Lillard (Clill) and saw the Holy Grail up close (The Mule) what an awesome car that thing is in person. Words don't do it justice, sounds wicked too.

There were a ton of super nice rides on the tour, non nicer than the ones we are building here on Lateral-G.

I talked to Scott earlier this afternoon & he said it was raining, but he said he was actually glad to see it. He said is was very hot & sticky..but then again he's a snow bunny from Minnesota, so anything above 80 is hot for him!! You are right though Jim, Scott & Jody are as good as they get.

Much like your self..Can't wait for SEMA!!

I should be meeting up with them this afternoon.

Typical Summer weather patterns rolling into Florida with a chance of thunder showers basically every afternoon.

You are so correct Jim, I met Jody, Scott and the rest of the gang for the first time on Power Tour this year and they are awesome folks. I have "known" Jody for a few years from the Camaro boards but this is the first time meeting him in person. We had a nice time visiting through Nashville. That's where we decided to turn back for home in WI.

Scott wanted me to register and stop in so I thought I'd chime in on this thread as well.

I'll tell ya one thing though that heat was hard as heck on the cars this year. The tour this year was certainly an acid test on everthing mechanical. I think I wore out a brand new set if Isky's finest solid rollers, amn they were loud when I finally pulled into the driveway after about 1700 miles.

I also met these guy's here in Kississimee. Steve's Chevelle is very sharp, has magazine cover wrote all over it in that color. And Charlie sure keeps the Mule nice, especially when you consider how many miles are on it now. Talked with Scott, Jody and Charlie for a while, all great guy's.
Also met Tony from LS1 tech and was able to check out his car, and met Rick Gordon, another Internet customer / friend with a fresh blue 68 convertible Camaro that is very nice.
If this is a representation of the guy's that do this tour, I am getting excited about doing it.

Yeah, we had a blast! Just got home and am trying to catch up on the e-mails and board activities. It was great meeting Jim, Rick, Chris, Tom, Tony, Frank, and apologize for anyone I missed. I'm beat right now.

Same here, I'm beat, but what a great week. I met so many people and enjoyed talking to all - I only wish I had more time to talk.
