Plus in Denmark how many Malibus w/ LS1 do you see? You bought the LS1 to be different, don't go back now.

Plus the all aluminum motor is lighter than the SBC. It may take a bit more effort but everything worthwhile usually does. I say keep the LS1 (like my opinion matters ).

very good points indeed.... i guess the prospect of tearing an SBC out and messing arround with all that wiring, bracket making, cpu reprograming and so on just got the better of me.... but i guess just the sound of that 50mm Tial BOV is worth the effort.... it just gets very alone in the shop in the winter time... mabe i need some hang-arrounds to drink my beer, fetch my tools.. and keep me on track LOL

EFI SBC, like an LT-1 or something similar. LSX's are awsome, but there is NOTHING wrong with a first or second-gen SBC and hey.... it actually fits!
