Red face

I knew I had to replace the quarter anyway, so I cut a hole to "peek inside" and get a better idea of the rust situation. It's pretty solid under the quarter. I will do all the motor assembly, but not the machine work. I'll start looking for a good machine shop when I get to that point. My plan is to get the body all finished up before I do the motor.

That looks like great car, you'll love workin' on it and then drivin' it! Don't take your eyes off that hood for too long, I had one walk away. About working on on panel at a time. Thats a good way to start but soon I think you'll find you'll be sandin' on one fender while the mud is hardening on another whlie the primer is dryin' on another. You'll be done before you know it! Makes me wanna get another Firechicken...............

That's a good amount of work ahead of you, but it will be nice when you get the sheet metal replaced. Glad to see another bird brain on here. If you need any extra FB parts, yell, I probably have them.
