Wow! I am almost speechless.

You just do not see this type of behavior any more. You guys really do make this place more thana board, and make it truelly a community with this type of outreach for another member.

I hate to hear what happened to Tony & Ned, but seeing the community pull behind you makes it easier to swallow.

As to the guy at racerodz, enuff bad has been said about him. I kind of feel for him also. He learned the hard way that just because you can do, does not mean you can run your own business. More than a few body shops and other business' have fell under for the same reasons.

Negetives aside, you guys are amazing for stepping up like this!

While I agree with those that have said "it's time to stop wasting energy bashing on Chris", there is NO proof that he learned a lesson. For all we know he is stomping around, cussing our names and blaming others for the bad things that have happened to him. We've all seen that type of person a lot more often than the few, who have turned it around and become contributing and productive people. I sincerely hope he is able to pull it together. However I don't have the time waste on him, nor will I give the guy the opportunity to prove one way or another. He screwed with good people...more importantly, he screwed my friends. I don't take that lightly at all! I know I sound bitter and cold which honestly is not who I am. (Well not till you screw me or those I care about.)

I don't want to see this happen to anymore of the members of L-G! I've gotten so many PMs about this project or that shop and how things went very wrong. We have a tremendous resource here and I hope (pray) that we can keep this kind of stuff to a minimum.

I contributed to the pot...felt good too.
Hope this helps start a process to prevent this from happening again in the future.

Holy Crap Tony, just spent the last hour reading through the first 1/2 of this thread. Really sorry to hear this happened, if I can help in any way let me know. I'm not that far from you. I'll read the rest in the next couple of days.

Don't worry the project will come together

Hey Tony and Ned, i know this won't heal the wounds, but because i found this forum and all u guys , there was a light at the end of my tunnel nightmare this week!! i joined couple months ago because of my problems with synister!! in the middle of that thread--here comes C. Fesler out of no where and offers up a great deal on a billet specialties front drive setup(should be here monday) Real great people to deal with!! would never have known about it without the turmoil i had w/synister!! There is some justice to those of us who take people for their word!! I still catch myself looking over my shoulder with other vendors since i got burned -but in time that will heal too!! There are some great guys w/ great shops on this forum that make us all proud and let us forget the ones that aren't!! After all , we may be located all over the country but family sticks together!!!

jim

Hey Jim,

Thanks for the kind words and it really bothers me to see all these people getting screwed everyday. I just dont understand how they live with themselves. I try to help everyone I can and run the shop so everyone feels at home. If there is anything else I can do to help just let me know. Thanks again.

Default Donation

I have finally read this post and cant understand how this stuff seems to go so wrong. Owning a shop I can see both sides and sometimes you dont quote right but that becomes the shops problem unless it was worked out with the Client before hand. Things dont always go right and it sucks to see this stuff happen to anyone.

We try very hard to keep work around the quotes and sometimes that is very difficult because the way everything changes. But we do our best and we stand behind what we say and do.

I have no problem donating money to help something gone bad and would hope that anyone of you would do the same for all of us. Now that I have donated for the project when do I get to borrow it for the weekend. That was part of the deal right?

Good luck with finishing the project and hold your head up high because as you can see you have a lot of good guys backing you here. Please keep us updated on the progress and pictures.

Wow, just read this entire thread.. I cannot believe this happened to both of you. I have known Anthony and his lovely wife Jennifer for a few years now and for those of you that don't know them, they are some of the most nicest people you would ever meet. Last year at SEMA, Anthony was really excited about getting his car done, what a bummer..

Anthony PM me, I might be able to help you out with transporting your car to any shop you want..
