C6 wheels for my 67 Camaro

Just sitting here thinking. Any idea how much I would have to alter the rear end for these wheels to slide right in? Rear end is next on list as it is at the rebuilder as we speak.

On our Nova project we used a 54mm [2-1/8"] wheel adapter with the C6 19x10 wheel. To eliminate the need for a wheel adapter in the rear, you'll just want to mock everything up so that you can set the overall WMS-WMS width of your axle. You could just calculate it using the offset/backspacing of the wheel [79mm/8.68" BS], but in my experience it's better to mock it up as no two cars seem to be alike. Also, don't assume that the axle is centered under the car.

Include the thickness of the actual rear rotor hats for mockup purposes as they're not all the same...assuming you're running discs.

Any idea what size of tires i should be looking into. I was thinking of putting some tires on the wheels before i bring them home from the post office.

235 to 245 up front and 275-285 in the rear. If you don't mind mini-tubbing and rolling the lip, reworking the inner fenders, etc, then by all means, go towards the high side. If not then I'd stick to the slightly narrower ones. You may want to check your area for a worn out set of C6 takeoffs for the purpose of checking fitment so that you're not sinking a bunch of money into tires that you don't know will fit.
