great looking renderings! In the end you beat me to it - I have been road racing my car and will stick with it for a couple more years but in the near future I am going to do a 70 fastback and you have virtually the same color scheme I planned, just "flipped"! Looks even better than I expected it too (my race car is two tone black on the bottom/olive green on top with black stripe full length - I was going to do the same to the 70. You are flipped with green on the bottom and black on top - again, looks great.

I had a 70 Grabber Sportsroof for years that had a "reverse C" stripe like the 69 Boss and love the look - your take on it with the GT2 and 363 looks great.

Shot of my car for grins - green and black cars rule! Best of luck on the build - will subscribe and follow along.

Thanks for all the kind words!

The paint scheme is inspired by the 69 Trans Am driven by George Follmer. All my cars are green and/or black so the combination was a no-brainer. The wheels were the closest I could find that looked like a present day relative of the classic mini-lite racing wheels.

I don't know the name of the heat barrier, will check. But it works great.

Dustin at CPR is full on the turbo placement and piping arrangement and I'm working on the carbon parts, so hopefully more pictures soon! We're shooting for a spring premiere.

Going slowly forward but we should be ready to load an initial tune and fire it up this week.

Rear end almost complete:

Throttle body ready, just missing cable:

Exhaust completed incl wastegates:

Wastegate dumps, exhaust done, front end fully assembled and aligned:

Hey Cpt - I saw your car at the shop a couple of weeks ago. She looks mean sitting on the ground...
